Rental Agreement

Equipment is supplied in working order. Inspect it on delivery or collection and report any defect immediately; otherwise it is taken as accepted in good condition.

Use the item only for its intended purpose and only at the location agreed. Do not sub-hire or move it off-island without the owner's written consent.

Where an operator is supplied, only that operator may run the machine.

You are responsible for damage or loss during the hire period, up to the value of the security deposit for insured events and in full for uninsured misuse.

Damage insurance included in your booking covers accidental damage during normal use. It does not cover negligence, unauthorised use or operation by an unlicensed person.

Unless stated on the listing, the item is supplied fuelled and should be returned fuelled. Consumables are the renter's responsibility.

Return the item on the agreed date. Late returns are charged at the daily rate for each additional day.

Report breakdowns immediately. Where a fault is not caused by misuse, the owner will repair or replace the item, or the unused portion of the hire will be refunded.
