rentalmv is a Maldivian rental marketplace. We started with the machinery that builds the islands, and we're expanding from there.
Why we built it
Finding an excavator or a generator in the Maldives has traditionally meant calling around, chasing quotes and hoping the machine is actually free. We thought the country deserved something better: one place where availability, price and condition are visible before you commit.
Where we're going
Heavy vehicles are the beginning. The platform is built so that tools, electronics, furniture, travel gear and event equipment can be switched on as the supply side is ready — the same booking, delivery and invoicing pipeline serves all of them.
How we keep it trustworthy
Owners are checked before they can list, machines carry a Verified badge once we’ve seen them, and reviews come only from customers who actually rented. Every booking carries damage insurance and a refundable deposit.
